Seasons Greetings lovely people. I hope this post finds you all well and full of excitement for the coming festivities.
At my behest and annual insistence we bought a real tree for the hallway. After much traipsing round various tree retailers
(treetailers?!) and mulling over the rather expensive £60 price tag I had the rather marvellous idea of trying the garden centre at BM Bargains.
Imagine, if you will, my excitement and sense of jubilant achievement when I found a tree for
£25.
I lovingly decorated it in traditional tones of Red and Gold and flicked the lights on to much "oohs" and "aahs" from the boys.
Fast forward 2 weeks later and my tree looks like it has had chemo. It, my friends, is nigh on bald.
I guess the old adage is true that you really do get what you pay for.
Anyway I am one treatment in to being reconstructed for the second time and, as I type, I am rather uneven in the chest department.
My traitorous left boob not only got
cancer it then rejected the implant and I am now in the process of having fat grafted from my midrift area to plump it up.
Unfortunately there is a four month wait between treatments so I'm a little lopsided at the moment with my right boob escaping
from my bra every five minutes and the left one coming nowhere near filling the bra cup.
Thank the Lord it's Xmas jumper season....
Oh I'm also toying with the idea of getting a tattoo to cover the left lump after I saw pictures of a woman who
had it done and it looked fab.
Any thoughts?
